Xavier Hinojosa aka "DJ Crazy X," is a California native and a 2018 graduate from ICON COLLECTIVE MUSIC PRODUCTION SCHOOL in L.A. He was nominated for ICON student of the year in 2018 along with 2 other fellow classmates. DJ Crazy X started working his way through the local club circuits in 2005, and quickly began to attract the attention of local Club Managers and Promoters, which led to a Club Residency in the biggest club in Portland, Oregon. There is only one word to describe Crazy X's sets...and that's ENERGY! DJ Crazy X has a natural ability to read the crowd and has an awareness of what the crowd is feeling. "It's not just what you play, but how and when you play a record. Music is spiritual, so if you can tap into the emotional energy on the dance floor, then you can take the crowd on a musical journey and that is where the real magic happens." Xavier became involved in music at the age of 10. He joined his junior high school band and quickly knew what his purpose in life was....MUSIC! He became one of the top instrumentalists in his class and toured locally with his fellow classmates and were garnered at one point, one of the top bands in the city of San Antonio under the tutelage of Mr. Salazar his band teacher. It was his experience in band that shaped his ability to be an excellent performer as a DJ, which you can see when he performs. "Music is the only thing in life that can bring people from all walks of life and mutually connect them all together in a moment! My mantra is, "Play and they will come."
